I like to capture intimate moments of real, raw love. That means embracing the happy, the sad, and the messy parts of life to create snapshots of life as it is in the moment. These intimate, raw, real, big emotions allow my clients to remember how it felt to be in the moment. It’s my job to capture moments, not create them. Which is why you’ll never find me wrangling your family into matching outfits and forcing them to smile for the camera.
When I became a mother, I realized how few photos there were of myself and my mom growing up. She was always the one behind the camera–recording my life with no evidence that she was the most important part of it. That’s what inspired me to become a motherhood and family photographer. Because mothers deserve to be a part of their family memories, not just the creators of them.
